Even from the beginning of the movie industry, there were producers that wanted to induce to the public a variety of feelings and sensations that in real life could harm and have lots of negative effects. Throughout history some of the most impressive and scary lines have been preserved and spread world wide. A very good example is the line used by Doctor Henry Frankenstein, played by Colin Clive when the monster he created begins its existence in the movie “Frankenstein”: “It’s alive! It’s alive!”. Another good horror line is the one used by Hannibal Lecter, interpreted by Anthony Hopkins Addressing to Clarice Starling, played by Jodie Foster in “The silence of the lambs”: “I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti”. The movie “Jaws” had some great lines. One of them is “You’re gonna need a bigger boat”, delivered by Chief Brody, interpreted by Roy Scheider to Quint, played by Robert Shaw. This one ads a little humor touch to the horror masterpiece. These are some representative lines that most people remember after watching the movie. A nice production can also be distinguished by the quality of the lines, and if people like them, then it is most probably a great success.
